Working Alliance Inventory Fact Sheet
The Working Alliance Inventory (WAI) is a widely used rating scale designed to measure the working alliance between counselors and their clients during therapy sessions. The client form includes items covering three domains: bond, goal, and task. Clients indicate their opinions about their counselors and the counseling sessions. The rights to use the WAI must be obtained from the author.
